  Somewhere between a convenience store and a smaller grocery store, we sometimes affectionately refer to New Frontier as the hippie mart. It's a short jaunt from home, so I fairly often go there in a pinch, for just a few items each time. Prices are "competitive," for the kind of place it is -- quite spendy if we're comparing to something like Aldi or Groce Out -- but that's be unfair. Most, if not all food items sold here are organic. They have a small bulk food section, including dried fruits, nuts, powdered grains, honey, coffee. They also sell pills, soaps, incense, and candles; possibly a few other non-food items. Service is always good or great. I love the resident indoor/outdoor kitty whose name I don't recall, and he's the closest thing to my own pretty I've got, now.
